Matthew is the Owner of Ahoy Pool & Lawn Services LLC. He is recognized as a Certified Pool Operator by PHTA. Ahoy Pool & Lawn Services LLC is Licensed & Insured. Ahoy specializes in pools, spas, & landscaping. Mainly providing service in Hampton Roads and Northeast North Carolina. Matt's journey started back home in the Outer Banks of North Carolina when he was 15. He would mow lawns every summer to make extra money. In 2006 while attending East Carolina University, he would come home on the weekends to landscape, clean pools and mow lawns. From there he was offered a Maintenance Service position for pools and spas in which he became very proficient. While working as a Maintenance Specialist, he finished school at Norfolk State University where he received a Bachelor's of Science Degree in Management Information Systems. Upon graduation, with the 2020 COVID pandemic in full swing, he decided to combine his knowledge of pools, spas, and landscaping to start Ahoy. Matt's goal is to be completely transparent and provide you with the best customer experience, product knowledge and value that you deserve.

When it's time to call "ALL HANDS ON DECK!" Benny is the man for the job! His attention to detail, and eye for perfection, can ensure you get a quality end product every time you choose Ahoy. Benny is a family man, and enjoys going to the beach with his wife Hillary, and his two beautiful daughters Vanna and Charleigh.

Service Technician

Chris hails from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and is a very talented musician who loves to play guitar and sing. He has been with Ahoy since 2023, and has been a very dedicated and knowledgeable addition to the team. He loves making clients smile, and helping them feel comfortable with any pool questions they may have. Chris loves anything sports, especially if it has to do with Philly. You might even hear him shout "GO BIRDS" from time to time.

Tiffany P.

Administrative Assistant

Rounding out the Ahoy team is Tiffany. She completed her Bachelor's & Master's degree in Accounting from the renowned East Carolina University. She began her career in public accounting, preparing her for a successful career in insurance and healthcare accounting. Today she continues to work in the healthcare industry as well as assisting the Ahoy team with our administrative needs.
